It seems that I have saved the last 3 layouts for this month for 1 blog post. I apologize if it gets long. All 3 kits were using the current September Noted kit and Noted add-on.
Two of my layouts were used by a sketch designed by our . I'll post Heather's sketch at the end of this post, hopefully she'll inspire you as much as she did me :)
YOU MAKE ME HAPPY:
This layout if of my son Kaden. I loved that the colors matched perfectly. This layout was inspired from Heather's sketch.
I really enjoy layering. I try not to put everything flat to the page and keep some interest with the ends sticking up.
same goes for the flags, I just bend the tips up.
HELLO MY NAME "IS THE BEST BABY SITTER":
This is my second layout using the sketch. I turned the sketch to match the size of my photos. This is my daughter Khila, showing off her payment for her first babysitting job.
Tons of layering her. For the noted card I used cardstock and washi tape on the backside. I just love the mini paperclips included in the Noted kit. I love the office supply look they give. I wish they came in a bulk package of 1000 cause I know I'd use them!
SO HAPPY TOGETHER
I was inspired by the wooded people for this layout. It just so happen I had 3 Boys and 2 girls. I think Jessica must have done this on purpose because the sizes were correct too. Thank you for that extra touch Jessica!
These pictures are 8.5 years old. The birth of my youngest son. Please don't judge they way I look, I just had a baby!! :) I picked these pictures because I thought they went well with the colors of the pattern papers I was using.
One of my new favorite things to do with washi tape is to tear it down the middle and use the long pieces around the edge of a layout. I like that it's not a straight line and the torn look gives it interest. After I look at the layout on line, I'm thinking some stitching would look nice going through the washi tape.
Here's a close-up of the page with the wooden people. It's kind of funny looking at this now. My oldest son is taller than my husband and myself. If this were a current picture I would have to switch the tall man for the medium size boy. hahaha.
Here's Heather's sketch:
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
