Sharing my October GD layouts....

It's time to share my layouts I create using the October Sweet Peach Crop Shop, Sweet kit!

This kit had a lot of great patterns and colors, instead of using layers, I created a quilt type background. That way I was sure to get in a bit of each piece of paper and color without it being cluttered.

and a few close-ups of that layout...

Under the American Crafts flower, I gathered some of the fabric, which is included in the kit, to make the flower stand out of bit more. I had mist the fabric with some Maya Road mist to give it some extra color.

For these flowers, I really had fun making them, just a quick twist of fabric, some fabric glue and you have some easy, inexpensive flowers. I used some thin stripes of paper and wrapped them around a pencil to give it a little extra color.

 Lots of fun colors!

adding a little piece of ribbon...sure adds something extra to a plain tag. Topped off with a rub-on.

I used lots of layers and stitching them together gives in a nice finished edge!

The circles on the pattern paper where so fun, I knew I had to cut them out! It's hard to see, but the circle have a glittered center and really make the page sparkle---specially with the glittered brads and alphabet title.

and lastly the layout I used the sketch with. For more information on the October Sketch Challenge, please visit the Sweet Peach Blog!

To see the kit, please go to the store, I want to add that I used the add-on embellishment kit as well. I have to is worth every penny and it's only $13.00! The products in it are are a perfect match for this kit and well, besides that they are my favorite products!

A huge Thank You goes out to Corrie at Sweet Peach for asking me to join them this month. I had a great time with the kit! Oh, and the design have to check out their amazing work too. Here's a link to the gallery....Love all of it!

Here are close-ups of each square. As I mentioned I kept this layout very simple and easy to create!

Your next stop is going to be the fabulous Miss June's Blog.

Wait, put on the breaks...I forgot to say something...Don't forget about the My Little Shoebox Sketch Challenge this month. You can read about it here!

My Little Shoebox October Sketch...

It's that time again...get out your My Little Shoebox supplies, some cute pictures, use our sketch and get to work!

Here's my take on the sketch, I used the Simple Life line. I really enjoy this line because of the barn, little sheep, colors (love the colors!). Perfect match for my photos. My children were bottle feeding the calves at their uncles house. They really enjoyed doing that!

here's a few close-ups:

and here is our creative sketch! Isn't it great!

ok, your turn! Please a link to your layout on the MLS blog so we can all see! Also for more details...check out the MLS blog!

I would like to share some sneak of my layouts using the Sweet October kit!

I'm so thrilled with the way my fabric flowers turned out!

A little lace on a tag makes it look cuter!

Gotta love machine stitching on a page!

Lots of great embellies in this kit!

More fabric used under a premade paper embellie!

layers, layers, and more layers!

Stay tuned for the full reveal of my layouts next week, but now you gotta see this kit!
