Just wanted to share 2 of my children that went Trick-or-Treating this year.

Hello all!

It seems like I haven't update in a while. I don't have anything in full reveal but, I have been working on a lot of layouts. Since I can't exactly share full picture, I can share the peeks of them :) These are just a few of the projects I have been working on for My Little Shoebox.

Sharing my October GD layouts....

It's time to share my layouts I create using the October Sweet Peach Crop Shop, Sweet kit!

PUMPKIN PICKIN'

This kit had a lot of great patterns and colors, instead of using layers, I created a quilt type background. That way I was sure to get in a bit of each piece of paper and color without it being cluttered.

and a few close-ups of that layout...

Under the American Crafts flower, I gathered some of the fabric, which is included in the kit, to make the flower stand out of bit more. I had mist the fabric with some Maya Road mist to give it some extra color.

For these flowers, I really had fun making them, just a quick twist of fabric, some fabric glue and you have some easy, inexpensive flowers. I used some thin stripes of paper and wrapped them around a pencil to give it a little extra color.

ONE FINE DAY

 adding a little piece of ribbon...sure adds something extra to a plain tag. Topped off with a rub-on.

I used lots of layers and stitching them together gives in a nice finished edge!

AROUND AND AROUND

The circles on the pattern paper where so fun, I knew I had to cut them out! It's hard to see, but the circle have a glittered center and really make the page sparkle---specially with the glittered brads and alphabet title.

This time around I wanted to try something a little different with my layout. Normally when I design with My Little Shoebox, I stay within the collection. This time I have 5 collections on 1 layout, a very simple approach to what we call "Mash Up Layouts!"

My Little Shoebox October Sketch...

It's that time again...get out your My Little Shoebox supplies, some cute pictures, use our sketch and get to work!

Here's my take on the sketch, I used the Simple Life line. I really enjoy this line because of the barn, little sheep, colors (love the colors!). Perfect match for my photos. My children were bottle feeding the calves at their uncles house. They really enjoyed doing that!
