Guest Designing at Scraptastic Club!

As I mentioned before I was asked be a guest designer at Scraptastic Club this month!

I had picked the My Minds Eye Alphabet Soup-boys kit! Boy, am I glad I did! It was a fun kit and very easy to use.

I just loved using all the chipboard pieces! So easy just punch out and attach!

Here are my wild kids having a great time at the zoo!

By using pop-dots under each 3x3 square this layout have some really cool dimension to it!

Using leftovers...

I have finished my August projects for for My Little Shoebox, except it will be a bit before I can share. I had some leftovers sitting on my desk and I just started playing. I cut some pattern paper to 3x5 and just kept adding stuff, I didn't think about what I was making and after 30 minutes I came up with 2 of these "embellished embellishment pieces." Plus is gave me a chance to play with the new stamps.

I stamped the sheep on the back of a MLS journaling card, used distress ink and splattered with Maya Road Mists. I love the "down home" feel you get with the burlap and fabrics.

I left some space for journaling and I can easily add this to my next layout.








and on this one same concept, just different "found pieces." I have a big bin of pieces of odds n' end. Its fun to dig through and see what may work for a project.

My Little Shoebox and a sketch...

Alrighty...time for some fun! Get out your favorite My Little Shoebox supplies, use the awesome sketch (created my MLS very own Pamela Young!) and create! Guess what the winner get???? Ok, I'm going to let you find out for yourself because it's very cool! Just go to the MLS blog and see, plus all the details and rules are listed their too!

Here's my take on the sketch, I used one of the newest lines called "Green." This is one of favorite lines because of the cool snails, mushrooms, and especially the colors! I switched it around a little, but here you go...

It's fun to use scraps and put them through a cuttlebug or instead embellishments (I used it for the leaves)!

With all the new pattens, it's really easy to layer!

I love these little snails...and they are stickers!

Christmas papers!

Did you know My Little Shoebox had a new line just for winter?!?!?!?! Jeepers, I didn't even know. I guess I  have been living under a rock. So I want you to know and you can tell your friends and they can tell the LSS owner to bring it in the store and then everyone will know and we can all "ohh" and "ahh" over everyone's pages. So make sure after you create you send it My Little Shoebox so they can see to!

I'm loving the cute snowman! I bet I can find a couple (hundred) winter photo's for some layouts since I live in snow country!
