My Little Shoebox Thankful Blog Hop

Thank you for joining me on the My Little Shoebox, "Thankful Blog Hop!"

You should be hoping from Patti's blog! If you came her by chance that's perfectly fine! But we would love for you to hop along with us and you can start out at the My Little Shoebox blog and just keep clicking from blog to blog. Trust me, you have to see all the creativity these girls have-they are awesome!

Since Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I thought it would be fitting to make a layout of what I'm most thankful for...that would be my family.

Please let me share my layout entitled:
Our Family

and a couple close-ups!

To make the flowers pop a bit more, I used some embroidery thread and buttons.

Check out the chipboard letters, I ran them right through the cuttlebug machine to give them a little extra texture! Here's a closer-up peek too.

Don't you just love that punch? You are probably asking what kind is it and where can I get it...right?!?!?!

Well, I got my at a local craft store (Michael's) and it's called Chinese Knot from EK Success. For the technique I used. first I punched a 12 inch strip and stitched it down the middle. It look ok, but just a bit flat. So I punched another 12 inch strip out, folded it in half and stitched it right down on the top of the other one. The punch is very versatile, you can even cut apart the pieces and make unique flowers or butterflies.

You probably noticed this is a mix of all the newest line from My Little Shoebox, they mesh so well together!

Well, it's time to hop on off to the next blog. Please join me in visiting Tracey's blog. Don't forget there's always a treasure box at the end of the rainbow...or in this case a prize package at the end of the blog hop. So keep on hopping until you reach the end!

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining us, leaving us heart warming comments and enjoying this wonderful hobby of scrapbooking!

and just for you....I would LOVE for you to join my Following Blog Link (it's on the upper right side of the blog), I will pick one winner that leaves a comment here that is a follower for a RAK! ETA: I'm going to keep this open until Thursday and pick a winner on Thanksgiving Day!
