A week later...

It comes with a heavy heart that I have to post this...

Last Thursday my father passed away at age 58. A week later it still seems unreal. I have been so busy with funeral arrangements and a dinner at my house, I barely had time for myself.

The memorial  service was Tuesday and a dinner for 70 to follow at my house. I'm so happy with the way everything went. Everything was perfect.

Here's my dad doing what he loved the most...fishing.

just being himself...

playing with my kids...

Thank you for letting me share my memories.

It has been a month since I walked into my scrapbook room. I really want to get in there this weekend, hope I can find the time.

May God help you through this difficult time. I lost my Mom 7 years ago, it's soooo hard to lose a parent. My prayers are with you and your family.

it's hard to lose a parent at a young age...prayers to you & the family. at least you have photos showing the fun side; something I don't have of my parents with my kids. They are alive but never do anything with their grandkids EVER.
