HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

What a fun alternative to making a layout! This is a 11x14 canvas using items from my kit from BlueMoon.

Aren't my 3 kids cute in their Halloween customs?!?!? This pictures are from 2 years ago. Certainly fun times around here in October!

Gettin' Messy!

The time has finally come--the first week of the art journaling class I'm enrolled in at Get it Scrapped! I have done 2 of the lessons so far and LOVED them. I love getting messy! I'm just gonna show you a peek of what I have been up to, there's a bunch more pages but I picked just a couple.

I would love for you to join me! Remember this is just the first week and look. This will be a book in about a month.

Today I played with more 7gypsies products and the Border Punch (which is on sale this week).

I wanted a postage stamp effect on my paper and to do that I just used the circle border punch.



Here's the punchI drew a line through the middle of the circle to make sure each punch would be in the same area. I lined the top of paper to my pencil line and just kept punching all the way around the paper.

To get the border around the picture, I used the ATC punch, which is included in the border punch system and finished it off with the whimsy rub-ons 7gypsies has to offer.

I played with a kit Blue Moon kit, which I purchased a while back. The black and white papers are flocked, which means they are soft and full of texture.

In my kit was a mirror, isn't it pretty with the border I cut out of my paper?

I used a ring dangle on the bottom of the page. I just love the way it hangs and looks. I also like the way they look on the spine of a scrapbook album.

On this picture you can see the scalloped metal frames and a piece of grafter tape. They look really pretty together.

The little heart on the crown was clear. After 1 drop of alcohol ink, it's now a pretty shade of red to match my page.

Imagine a Forest...

My Monday Column At BlueMoon! 10-19

It's time for an all new kit at BlueMoon Scrapbooking. This month I get to play with the kit called Crow's Feet! Make sure you check out the awesome stamps in the kit!

My layout is title: Sweet Sunny Smile.

Check out the awesome Prima Sunflowers! These would be perfect for a mini book or a home decor' piece...so many possibilities.


I did some masking on the orange paper, actually I did it on the entire layout before I added any pieces. I just wanted to tone down the orange paper a bit.

Check out the metal frame by Tim Holtz I embellished the frame with a My Little Shoebox "smile" sticker. (I had this on hand, not included in the kit)
