1 done!

1 done...3 more to go! My fingers are covered in gesso and ink, the paper is flying and I'm buring through adhesive...I'm on a mad dash to finish up the DT work for AKOTC.

The Kiss on the Chic kits flew off the shelves just like I said they would. Laura is doing a reorder, please let her know if you want anything and get your name on a list.

Friday!

Phew, what a week!

I have just spent the last day and half without internet. I know for some this isn't a huge deal. But, for me it is...You see I'm overly addicted. Really! Just ask my family. Maybe it was our snowstorm that knocked it out, I really don't know. But it's back and I'm back!

I just received the March A Kiss on the Chic kit today. So stayed tuned for peeks of my projects. The kit will be up for sale tomorrow, Saturday Feb 28 at 6:00 California time. That's around 8:00 my time and 9:00 on the East Coast.

For the weekend we are going to a science fair. The kids love it! We had gone before, we ended up staying about 3 hours and I came home with around 200 pictures and the kids were on the local news. This year I'm going to try taking less photos and try more of the hands stuff. It's really pretty interesting.

Sunday we are playing bingo again (I know, I know what you are thinking) but it's fun! The kids really enjoy it and at the same time I'm teaching my 5 year old his numbers and the importance of loosing a game. It's for fun and the money goes for a good cause.

Hope you all enjoy your Friday evening, as for me I'll be scrapbooking. I love spending Friday nights hanging in my scrapbook room til the wee hours of the morning!

My Little Shoebox layouts

Remember the prize I won from My Little Shoebox, well I used most of it up!!!!! The papers are so cute and easy to work with. I can't wait til I can get my hands on more of their stuff.

I made these 2 layouts so far. I know it's hard to see from these pictures but there is a ton of dimension on these pages. I love cutting all the little pieces from the pattern paper, add a few foam pop-dots and da-ta instant embellishments!

Thanks for looking! I have to clean up my scrapbook room now and get ready for the March, A Kiss on the Chic kit that will be coming shortly. I can't wait to design with it. The kit is so pretty!

BINGO!

We spent a Sunday afternoon playing BINGO! Can you believe it??!!?!?!? Actually it was fun and the kids had a blast. Here's a couple photos of me and the kids. I think Scott had more fun talking to his friends than actually playing.

Home Decor Pieces

I made these little wall hanging a couple weeks back but never posted them.

I wanted to make something for the bare spot in my family room. I came across these little 6x6 frames at Target. A set of 3 cost $2.50!!!! Love finding deals like that! I took the glass out and altered them. I Love using black and white photos and all the colors I used are the colors in the room!

Lovely shades of green

I just came across the beautiful sneak peek of March's A Kiss on the Chic kit. So many beautiful pieces! I love the flowers and Prima papers. I can't wait to play with it!!!!!!

Tell me...what do you think of all the loveliness of the shades of green and pretty flowers.

The weekend crop layouts

Here's a couple of the layouts finished at a weekend crop. I wish a crop would run ALL week instead of a weekend. Could image scrapbooking for 5 days?!?!?!?!? Imagine what a person could accomplish without having to worry about the house, the laundry, cooking, kids homework and the dog! Oh, and the responsibilities of a job.

Discover Nature: This layout is using some of the Cosmo Cricket line and Sassafrass Lass. So cute!

S'more Connoisseur layout is a little more of the Cosmo Cricket. As you can image we take ALOT of wet wipes with up when we camp. Every marshmallow ends up looking like this.

These picutres of my son sleeping were actually already scrapped about 4 years ago. I removed them and made something a little more fresh looking (Yes, I do this often). I love the Sassafrass Lass papers, they are sooo cute! As you can see I do alot of hand cutting of embellishment from the pattern paper.

Buddy of Mine layout is something I wanted to play around with and bring out the Maya Road Mists. They work wonderful on masks and chipboard. I also played around with cardboard to make the layout have a bit of a grundge look to it. Always have to add in a little Tim Holtz metal embellishments on a layout!

This is a simple 8.5 x 11 layout of my daughter, Khila. Again I used the Maya Road mists on the chipboard. It's so simple to cover the chipboard with just one little squeeze. Sure beats taking out the paint, paint try and trying to locate a paint brush that isn't all stuck together cause I didn't bother to wash it off the last time I used it.



I have some really cool picture frames I altered BUT, it's dark and raining. Yes you heard right, I'm in WI, it's February and it's raining. We haven't received snow in a month. I can't believe it.

I just came back from a weekend crop and I'm exhausted. I made some really cool set of frames for some wall decor. I'll post them later. The crop rocked! There are so many awesome girls to talk to and seeing the talent is amazing.
